About Me

Bio

I am an editorial and commercial photographer  based in Dallas, Texas and have been making photos for most of my life. Commercially for 44 years.

I grew up in Brooklyn and Long Island and attended Syracuse University. My career began in New Orleans, which I still love. Dallas is  awesome.

When not making photos, I am creating music, trying to cook as good as my dad, or playing frontenis or golf. I love to travel and photograph my journey.

Expertise

My work focuses on capturing a moment, whether it's portraiture, event and lifestyle imagery, or just the perfect light. I have been a commercial photographer since 1978. I am equally comfortable shooting people, editorial, architecture and interiors, special events or still life. I specialize in not specializing.

Always experimenting with new techniques, I love digital technologies, and use the latest cameras and lighting.

My 3000' studio, located in Dallas' Design District has a 30' cyc, fully equipped kitchen, a dedicated art copy setup and 44" 12 color printer. Also a photography gallery, and a music studio/ entertainment area.
